BASIC PURPOSE:
This position is under the general direction of the Restaurant Manager and performs as the Manager in their absence and is responsible for all personnel and all Food & Beverage Department operations during the assigned shift. Incumbent is responsible for scheduling, performance management, and training of all subordinates on assigned shift.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
- Facilitate availability, supervision, training and development of frontside personnel.
- Prepare end of shift reports, disciplinary reports, and paperwork regarding department operations.
- Prepare inventories, maintains records of various food items conditions.
- Report all incidents occurring during his or her shift to Restaurant Manager.
- Order goods as backup to the Restaurant Manager.
- Maintain Food & Beverage Departmental cash reserves during assigned shift, to include review of cashier’s till and end of shift reports.
- Resolve conflicts among customers and/or staff.
- Perform duties of subordinates as required
- Maintain a professional hygiene and appearance.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete required training as directed by the Supervisor or the Human Resources Department.
- Must perform all work functions in accordance with the Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, required AND 2 experience in the restaurant or kitchen. Must have 1 year in supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extended working hours, including weekends, may be required.
- Must possess Class III Gaming License.
