Job Title: Drink Server

Summary: Incumbents in this position take San Felipe customers’ drink orders and deliver drinks as needed.
This position also ensures the beverage service area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Build good relationships with all customers both internal and external.
- Promote customer service as a priority by being attentive to guests’ needs; providing prompt, courteous service, requesting beverage orders, and filling the orders.
- Follow up with existing guests to ensure satisfaction. Assists in resolving any adverse guest issues to the guest’s satisfaction.
- Maintain an appropriate level of stock in drink stations; including but not limited to stocking juices, ice, cups, syrup, etc.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe gaming environment by dumping ashtrays, disposing trash, and cleaning machines as needed.
- Respond to customer requests and inquiries and informing customers of upcoming promotional events.
- Perform all work activities in accordance with Casino safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional hygiene and appearance.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete required training as directed by the Supervisor or the Human Resources Department.
- Complete other duties as directed by Management.
- Complies with company and departmental procedural guidelines, SOPs and safety procedures.
- Contributes to a team-oriented, continuous improvement, quality process.

Education/Experience:
No previous restaurant experience required.
Language Ability:
Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, kitchen and dining room personnel.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability:
Must be able to recognize and prioritize the changing needs of both FOH and BOH to insure a consistent flow during service.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Be able to work in a hot, wet, and humid environment for long periods of time. Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping. Frequent washing of hands.

Walks and stands during entire shift. Lift and carry racks or stacks of dishes, glassware and other utensils, weighing up to 30 lbs. Lift and empty trashcans weighing up to 150 lbs., with assistance. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and lifting.
