TRAVEL CENTER DISHWASHER
BASIC PURPOSE:
Incumbent in this position is responsible for washing and sanitizing all plateware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils used in food preparation and consumption.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
- Wash plateware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure dishes are sanitized and available as needed; keep sanitation solution up to San Felipe Pueblo Enterprise standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine.
- Place clean plateware, glassware, silverware and pot/pans in specified shelves according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Keep dish areas clean by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping countertops, and emptying trash.
- Trouble-shoots dishwasher machine malfunctions.
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Assist cooks in storing food and supplies and unloading delivery trucks.
- Maintain professional hygiene and appearance.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete required training as directed by the Supervisor or the Human Resources Department.
- Must perform all work functions in accordance with the San Felipe Pueblo Enterprise Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six (6) months experience in food preparation in a restaurant, kitchen, or dining area preferred.
- Work is performed in the kitchen area with exposure to heat, fumes and steam. Lifting large hot and cold trays required with lifting up to 25 pounds. Prolonged standing and walking is required.
