BASIC PURPOSE:

Incumbent in this position serves as a Supervisor with primary responsibilities for the protection, safeguarding and security of San Felipe Casino’s assets, personnel, and customers during their assigned shift. The incumbent is responsible for coordination of all shift functions/operations and supervision of agents.

TYPICAL Functions:

  • Responsible for Surveillance operations during assigned shift.
  • Develop work schedules, monitor, and supervise performance of Agents for assigned shift.
  • Provide assistance and training as needed for shift personnel.
  • Investigate allegations of cheating, wrongdoing, or theft by San Felipe customers and staff.
  • Responsible for all official records, reports and correspondence for department of an assigned shift.
  • Notify proper authorities for all emergencies, incidents, or situations occurring assigned shift.
  • Maintain public relations with Local, County, State and Federal Law Enforcement and Fire agencies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with department’s standard operating procedural manual and Casino’s Personnel Policies Manual and other policies and procedures.

  • Maintain professional hygiene and appearance in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Must attend and satisfactorily complete required training as directed by the Supervisor or the Human Resources Department as well as to ensure that staff is assigned to attend and ensure compliance of staff.
  • Must perform all work functions in accordance with the Casino Safety Policies and Procedures as well as ensure that staff is in compliance with Safety Policies and Procedures.

Incumbent in this position needs to be able to identify and investigate various types of problems along with, evaluation of alternatives, and provision of solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have worked as a Surveillance Agent in Indian Gaming.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required AND 3 years’ experience in law enforcement, security or surveillance preferably in the Casino or Gaming Industry in which at least 1 year was in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extended working hours, including weekends, may be required.
  • Must possess Class III Gaming License.
